Aka is a rosè wine obtained from 100% Primitivo di Manduria grapes. The name of this label recalls the precious Japanese coral named “AKA”: a red vivid and deep red coral, hard to work, but capable of giving jewelery of rare beauty and priceless value. Just like this coral, Primitivo is a grape variety that is difficult to vinify in rosé, because of the intense coloring feature of the grape; but if cleverly managed, it can offer a unique tasting of its kind.
